Album Review:: Heroes and Villains "Air Sea Rescue"

Montreal’s Heroes and Villains are much underrated and unappreciated in my eyes. I’ve been spinning their latest record Air Sea Rescue for several weeks and realized that I hadn’t mentioned it yet. They are not a band I hear a lot about and maybe it is because their records are self-released, but for fans of Byrds, Wedding Present, and arpeggiated chords you will find a new love. When I first heard this band what immediately attracted me to them was the jangly rock they play and the fact that the singer reminds me of David Gedge from The Wedding Present. The songs are catchy too, and Air Sea Rescue just continues with more of the same good stuff they had on their earlier releases.
