Tour News:: The Jesus And Mary Chain Announce More Dates

It does appear The Jesus And Mary Chain are back with a slew of new dates – most noteably their appearance at the 2007 Coachella festival, but before that show they are set to play Pomona Ca’s Glass House on April 26th – tix go on sale March 31st via ticketmaster.com & theglasshouse.us (10AM PT). That will mark their first official show since 1998. The band has also announced a number of summer festivals around Europe. Joining the band on bass will be Phil King (ex Lush), Loz Colbert (ex Ride) on drums , and Mark Crozer (guitar). Hopefully a world tour is in the works. Meanwhile, Jim and William’s latest recordings will be released worldwide via Sister Vanilla’s “Little Pop Rock” (Chemikal Underground) on April 2nd – featuring sister Linda Reid on vocals plus Ben Lurie and Stephen Pastel. Oh and speaking of The Pastels, catch their lovely cover of JAMC’s Darklands classic closer “About You” at www.myspace.com/thepastels
