Album Review::The Electric Soft Parade-No Need To Be Downhearted

After a long break, Brighton’s The Electric Soft Parade have found their muse and returned with a new record No Need To Be Downhearted. This album fulfills all of the potential of their much loved debut and avoids the mistakes of their rather dissapointing second effort. The songs travel from the mildly psychedelic 60’s to sparer piano tunes to edgier British rock. The songwriting is diverse and unpredictable creating a rollercoaster ride of a listen that makes sense as a whole. The Electric Soft Parade’s new record No Need To Be Downhearted is a breath of fresh air and full of well thought out colorful pop songs. The record will certainly appease fans and add some new converts.
