Film::Towncraft-Notes From A Local Scene

Shot over a six-month period by former Little Rock musician and award-winning filmmaker, Richard Matson, a documentary crew drove from NYC to Little Rock again and again, stopping in many cities along the way to speak with expatriates from the Little Rock scene. 115 people were interviewed and vintage photos; flyers, albums and footage were collected from many sources. Matson compiled more than 2500 pictures and 190 hours of interviews and archival footage. In TOWNCRAFT he defines Little Rock’s moment in time, as well as the lasting effect the music had on these youth as they became adults. File Thirteen Records will be featured in the movie.
