news::Bear in Heaven rare show tonight

Bear In Heaven’s Red Bloom Of The Boom is a psychedelic trough of shimmering guitars, fading sections that drip and congeal into colorful hallucinogenic bliss. Red Bloom in Boom is seven songs of way-out future rock, which may leave you out of your head for a while. Daydream-and-goosebump-inducing vocals that are somewhat remiscent of Destroyer’s Dan Bejar, glide over walls of melodious distortion, constructing songs that are decadent and grandiose. Bear in Heaven’s debut LP, Red Bloom of the Boom, has been pushed back ever so slightly until Nov. 6, 2007. The band will be playing a rare show tonight at Grasslands in Brooklyn.
