Switches:: Lay Down The Law

London’s Switches release Lay Down The Law, March 18 on Interscope. The electro guitar pop of “Drama Queen” opens, followed by the chomping edge of “Snakes & Ladders.” Then, it is four years ago with the title track coming through like a Franz Ferdinand song. Switches then move to the straight forward “The Need To Be Needed,” and later the post punk of “Message From You.” The singer reminds me of Brett Anderson of Suede. This one didn’t really move me.
