VH1 Classic To Air Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Ceremony This Monday

Yet another point of contention that I am reminded of every year is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Like the Nobel Peace Prize, what was once something of merit has been diluted by inappropriate choices driven by politics and social engineering. Much to the dismay of fans like myself, we’ll get to see and hear Madonna who is a great example of exactly what I am talking about… Wasn’t her last good record True Blue in 1986? There will also be appearances by John Mellencamp, Leonard Cohen, The Dave Clark Five and The Ventures get inducted into this musical institution. The ceremony will include appearances by Justin Timberlake(what the fuck does he have to do with rock’n’roll?), Lou Reed, Billy Joel, Ben Harper, John Fogerty, Damien Rice, Patti LaBelle, the newly announced Iggy Pop & The Stooges, and more.

For the second time, the induction ceremony will be telecast LIVE from the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City on VH1 Classic and MTV Networks’ MHD: Music High-Definition channel on Monday, March 10 at 8:30 PM/ET. In addition, a special two and a half hour highlight edition will premiere on VH1 on Saturday, March 22 at 11:00 PM.
