Dosh:: Wolves and Wishes

Wolves and Wishes, Martin Dosh’s fourth official LP and followup to 2006’s The Lost Take, arrives May 13. Dosh spent nearly a year on the road–touring solo and as a member of Andrew Bird’s band–and yet, he is back with a new concoction and there’s not a single drum machine in the mix. Inspired by the floating dream music of Arthur Russell, Dosh creates a new epic strung out over drone rather than percussion or melody, sprinkling banjo, chiming notes and whatever else. Despite the distance covered, Wolves and Wishes plays seamlessly throughout.
