Among other things, Misfortune500 incorporate waves of dark guitar with powerfully effected vocal treatment laid over driving rhythms to get their message across. Their debut release Before This Winter Ends was produced by Asa Leffer (DJ DangerMouse, The Whigs, etc.) and mastered by Jeff Capurso (Drive-By Truckers, Now It’s Overhead, etc), and is currently distrubuted by Stickfigure Records.
