Brooklyn’s Shara Worden, a.k.a. My Brightest Diamond invites you back in to her wonderfully strange world that is more akin to ancient Greek epics and Medieval tales of magic and mystery than this age of rehash and mascara. My Brightest Diamond will be releasing their sophomore album, A Thousand Shark’s Teeth, June 17th on Asthmatic Kitty Records. The record’s first single, “Inside a Boy,” is out and includes “I Had a Pearl,” and remixes of two tracks from A Thousand Shark’s Teeth. My Brightest Diamond will also be playing a run of West Coast shows with Pedestrian, in addition to her own East Coast shows to preview songs from A Thousand Shark’s Teeth live. A pre-order for A Thousand Shark’s Teeth is now up on Asthmatic Kitty’s website, featuring a bonus EP for anyone who orders the album this way.
