Tim Fite:: Fair Ain’t Fair

Tim Fite’s new record, Fair Ain’t Fair, is a listen guaranteed to draw you in by some of the most illustrious lyrics you’ve heard in a while, laid over the back of an engaging theatrical soundtrack. Exploring a wide range of emotion, you may be drawn in by the church like solemnity on “Thought I Was A Gun,” the sheer infection of the picturesque “Yesterdays Garden,” or the oriental cacophony of “Rats and Rags.” Of course, the fun doesn’t end or begin there, my favorite song has to be the sing-along-song of “Big Mistake,” that just defies the listener not to join in on lines like “I’ll fuck it all up in the most spectacular way.” Check out the video for “Yesterday’s Garden,” from Fair Ain’t Fair, and catch Tim Fite on one of his select dates.
