Fight Bite:: Emerald Eyes

Fight Bite:: Emerald Eyes I’ve had Fight Bite’s new album Emerald Eyes for quite some time, receiving the record back when summer was still in full glow. I remember playing it briefly, quickly acknowledging that Emerald Eyes felt like a winter album, made for days when the confines of inside are the only place you want to be. Released a couple days prior to Halloween, the album has now made its way to proper rotation, coming off as a group of low key tales of sadness propelled by shimmering layers of music held atop by reverbed out vocals. Overall, Emerald Eyes brings to mind a mash of eighties moody 4AD crossed with Sarah Records, on a warm recording evoking thoughts of Low’s Christmas.
