Goblin Cock:: Come With Me If You Want To Live

Goblin Cock is rumored to be the work of Rob Crow of Pinback and today is the release of new album, Come With Me If You Want To Live, the follow up to their debut Bagged And Boarded. The album opens with a ghoulish chamber atmosphere before launching in to an underwater lab of overdrive and compression. With lyrics written in runes and a sound that dwells somewhere amidst soft metal, drone, and sort of stoner with a light grind, Come With Me If You Want To Live, makes its life. This album gets better after a few listens, topping out with the stomp of “Haint,” and the most thunderous track on the album, “Mylar.”
