The Proclaimers cover Kings of Leon

Scottish unit The Proclaimers are currently recording their upcoming album, Notes & Rhymes, set for release later this year. The band will be playing in the US in the coming months, bringing along an EP release that includes a cover of Kings Of Leon’s “17.” The Proclaimers will kick things off with US dates in Austin at SXSW. Afterwards, stops are planned for Los Angeles’ Hotel Café on March 24th and New York on March 26th, where they’ll play a sold out Joe’s Pub. Identical twins Craig and Charlie Reid were born in Leith and grew up in Edinburgh where they were raised on early rock ‘n’ roll and country greats. The band began their ascension after signing to Chrysalis in 1987.
