1990s take Kicks to America

Named after the most unremarkable musical decade since the birth of rock, Glascow’s 1990s recently released their second album, Kicks, on Rough Trade. Kicks is a pretty entertaining effort that certainly has its moments, including the alluring sway of crashing the car on “Sparks,” the zone-out of “Vondelpark,” and the swaggerly “Kickstrasse.” There is more to enjoy, though that’s all subjective. Find your own favorite in everything you do. The trio will embark on a US tour that starts in late May on the east coast and takes them across the country through mid June.
