Beast make debut

Beast’s self-titled debut was released last month via Verve Forecast. Vibrant work featuring a cross-pollination of jazz, pop, hip-hop, rock and electronica, from the partnership of Jean-Phi Goncalves and Betty Bonifassi with assistance from lyricist Simon Wilcox. Betty refers to Beast as “Trip rock,” an appropriate description of this issue.
