David Byrne brings Katzenjammer to Bonnaroo

David Byrne has invited Oslo’s Katzenjammer to play at the 2009 Bonnaroo. Byrne has assembled a number of performers for the first artist-curated stage at Bonnaroo. On the evening of Friday, June 12 Byrne, who is performing the “Songs of David Byrne and Brian Eno,” will host his recent collaborators Santigold, the Dirty Projectors, and Katzenjammer. Oslo’s Katzenjammer just digitally released the single “A Bar in Amsterdam,” on Nettwerk Music Group, with a 3 song EP in the works.
