DC’s Roofwalkers release their self-titled debut album on August 25, 2009 through Taps and Dies Records. Roofwalkers was recorded between 2006 and 2008 at various locations including Inner Ear Studios in Arlington, VA. Production and engineering work was done by Chad Clark (Beauty Pill, Dismemberment Plan, Fugazi) and by band member, TJ Lipple (who is also in Mary Timony’s new band, Soft Power). Before changing their name from Pagoda to Roofwalkers, the band released both an LP (Dearly Departed) and an EP (Seven Nights). The band is also confirmed to play The Writer’s Center on Friday, September 18, 2009 as part of the ongoing series called Story Stereo, pairing 2 literary writers with Roofwalkers.
