San Francisco band, Or, the Whale released their self-titled album recently. I guess you’d call this Americana, considering it is often filled with pedal steel, dobro, banjo and down home vocal refrains on tunes which bring to mind Neil Young, who might as well be American. Male / Female vocals strike a whiskey cure on eleven tracks likely to make the natives, and those who wish they were, swoon.
