The Middle East are from Townsville, Australia, a town situated in the far north of the country and adjacent to the Great Barrier Reef. Originally released by the band in 2008, the EP was re-released in Australia by independent label Spunk Records in mid-2009. The release will now be made available in North America both physically and digitally on October 27th. Until then, The Middle East will be selling the Recordings Of The Middle East for a dollar as a download from their website.
