One of my favorite records of the year is Princeton’s Cocoon Of Love, released late September by the Los Angeles based band. This eleven track album flourishes with melody sifting between Beatlesque and baroque while situated amidst sun, shore, and canyon. Cocoon Of Love finds its inspiration in faded glories and other things of former importance, and of course, remnants and spectacles of amour.
