“Island of Broken Glass” is from Dragon Turtle‘s new album, Almanac – a convergence of the formerly tranquil twisted and interrupted by cosmic schism drawn from acoustic and electric guitar, occasional keys, dreamy & noisy soundscapes, and submerged vocals. This album may be best served on a slow to acclimate Sunday morning when you’ve awoken discombobulated from the night before. The opening measures of the featured video makes me think of John Martyn’s Bless The Weather for some reason.
