releases:: The Album Leaf: A Chorus Of Story TellersOne of my favorite morning works of late is The Album Leaf’s A Chorus Of Story Tellers. Eleven rolling soundscapes of cold and color paint a vivid picture with instruments including, but not limited to: violin, viola, french horn, synths, rhodes, piano, and cello, making this largely instrumental album a worthy time.  Having said that, “There Is A Wind,” “Falling From the Sun,” and “We Are” deliver well in offset with their rare vocals, playing well to the near perpetual momentum of A Chorus Of Story Tellers.
