Finely woven country tinged St. Louis quartet Theodore release their album, Hold You Like A Lover, today on Moon Jaw Records. One of the more honest works I’ve heard in a while, Hold You Like A Lover evokes thoughts of classic Neil Young – complete with harmonica backdrop, an earthy landscape, and a touch of Langhorne Slim as well. Moreover, the group get a little abstract and freaky on the hazy trailing off of “Death’s Head.”
