James Mercer and Brian Burton are Broken Bells

Broken Bells is James Mercer and Brian Burton a.k.a. Danger Mouse. Their first album, eponymously titled, will be released by Columbia Records on March 9, 2010. The album features 10 songs co-written and performed by Mercer and Burton. Check out Broken Bells’ performance on WNYC’s “Soundcheck” program below.
