Nedry deal up Condors

With an alternate reality ambiance, intent beats, and cold glowing vocals, Nedry’s upcoming album, Condors has transported me to a time when I was well aware of the great cosmic fracture. The London trio have involved disappearing rhythms, dub atmospheres, and other trajectories, with vocals evoking Portishead without Beth’s ghoulish tint.  Elsewhere on “Scattered,” submariner guitars grind and swirl over erratic movements, followed by a reconciliation of sorts on the more sedate title track.  Now, you just have to decide which pill to swallow.
