Drive-By Truckers on Summer Tour and Jobs

In music news, Drive By Truckers have a load of dates planned for this summer in continued support of their latest album, The Big To-Do. DBT also want to hear about your job so check it out here.  While we could talk stupid jobs all day, how about idiot bosses and the question of who hired them?

For myself, music exists to help us escape the bullshit of life and lies of politicians who so ofter feign compassion for the downtrodden but in reality are just solidifying their voting base. And another thing, since most of us have to get drug tests for even the crappiest jobs I think its only fair that our politicians also be tested.  Wouldn’t you like to see what drugs they are on?   These days its also getting difficult to distinguish between our American mind control centers of Hollywood and DC with the increased prominence of plastic surgery and botox in the capitol.  Furthermore, the notion that any of these high ranking politicians, regardless of party, are there to serve the people is wholly untenable to anyone who pays attention beyond the tag lines of the brainwashers and repeaters on the so-called news.  Also peculiar that we’re still at war but the news doesn’t see that as such the hot topic anymore, no longer nightly detailing the dead, dread, and destruction.  Still many of us wonder why?
