Judson Claiborne’s Time And Temperature is a ten track work that stylistically intermingles folk and indie with the result being more savory than my description. A well constructed and reserved stroke permeates the album with standouts like “Oh Cyril” having the stricken feel of a Palace work, only with less faux Appalachia in the voice and a little more color in the tone. I’ve played this several times and haven’t tired of yet. There’s also a cover of “The Woman Inside of Me” by Chris Knox.
