I’ve become a little reluctant to compare bands to other bands as it places an unnecessary frame of reference that tends towards reduction. Having said that, Charlottesville, VA’s Borrowed Beams of Light offer a certain musical concoction that at times brings to my mind Field Music, and that’s nice company in my opinion.
