Howlin Rain return with The Russian Wilds

Fans of classic sounding rock should be well assured with this week’s release of Howlin Rain’s Rick Rubin produced third record The Russian Wilds. Soulful and promised with slick guitar and worthy song, The Russian Wilds sees the San Francisco Bay Area band in worthy estate. With all the overpraised mush and fluff out there, and there is a surplus, its refreshing to hear an album of good music made from grit and truth.

For more insight take in the Pamela Littky produced and directed short film Strange Thunder, as well as a song from the album.
